Notice of Occupational Health Service Interruption

Due to a technology upgrade, the University’s Occupational Health Service will be unavailable from Monday 25 November to Tuesday 3 December. During this period, no clinics will be held, and medical records will be inaccessible.

Referrals, paperwork, and appointment requests received during the closure will be actioned promptly from Tuesday 3 December.

For general enquiries or urgent issues requiring a response, please contact the Occupational Health team at enquiries@uohs.ox.ac.uk or call 01865 (2)82676.

If you're planning to travel abroad for a Medical Elective or on University business, please arrange your appointments with Occupational Health before the closure. For urgent travel advice and vaccinations, consult your GP or a private travel clinic. Local travel clinics include Woodstock Road Chemist and Boots on Cornmarket Street in the city centre.

In the event of a needlestick, splash, or sharps injury, please contact the John Radcliffe Hospital at 01865 741166 and ask for the Microbiologist on call.

Further advice and guidance on a number of health related topics can be found on the Occupational Health website.
