Certain work place activities and tasks may carry risks where upon the health and wellbeing of the individual is important to be medically assessed to ensure they're are fit for the task they are undertaking.
Examples of other medical assessments Occupational Health can carry out are:
- Night worker assessment: post offer of employment and annually thereafter where indicated
- Food handler assessment: post offer of employment only - subsequent reviews should be carried out in the department in line with food standards agency guidance
